TRINH VIET DUC

Summary

I am enthusiastic about Mathematics and Physics. Most of my career up until now was spent studying and researching the unknown of the universe. Fascinating as it may be, the challenges and impracticability of the subject led me to think about exploring new horizons, where the beauty of numbers and equations also bears applicable meanings. Quantitative Finance is my current interest due to how important the influence of stock markets is to the global financial picture. Stochastic processes are very common in Astrophysics & Cosmology (e.g: cosmic ray diffusion, dark matter halo abundance,...). In fact, the random behavior of things is presented in every corner of the world, and this complicates the predictability of collective phenomena in real-time. I want to take on these mathematical and computational problems applied to finance to help minimize trading risks, which in turn helps regulate financial flows and monitor the chances of future market crashes so that everyone could enjoy safer investments.
