Relocated internationally to take on a demanding role at one of the World's Top 10 Golf Courses. Immersed in the renowned Sand Belt region, I gained hands-on experience and expert insight into the maintenance and presentation of elite-level playing surfaces.

Arrived at Old Links with no prior experience to sports turf management. Now 5 years later, with a Distinction Level 2 qualification I am a highly skilled operative, covering all aspects of the job exceptionally.

• Taught physical education to children of primary school age.
• Worked during term time and holiday season.
• Managed classes of 10-30 children.
• Collaborated with parents and teachers to provide maximum safety for their pupils and children.

This job required patience, manners and a lot of energy to keep the children entertained with a smile on their face. It was a thoroughly rewarding job.

• Trained daily, 8am till 5pm. Towards professional contract.
• Traveled domestically, to play against other academies and showcase skills.
• Trained with first team weekly.
• Required to be elite athletes, physique management was compulsory.

As a 16 year old, this job took immense dedication, it was football or nothing. There were unruly amounts of pressure on my shoulders for 2 years. Discipline and respect were a given, without these two, I would never have made it close to being a professional footballer.
