Summary

I am an academic with nearly twenty years of experience as an educator, editor, and creative writer. In all aspects of my work, my aim is to enrich the lives of others through my love of literature, propensity for critical thinking, and dedication to social and political justice.

As an editor, I enable others to create impactful writing with a bent toward justice. Similarly, in my poetry, I use humor and introspection as an entry-point to societal and political issues. As an educator, my goal is always to instill a sense of empathy through critical thinking and collaborative ideology in my students.
