  • Successfully combining Director of planning and director of operations into a single director role and achieved annual savings of $29M in OPEX.
  • Leading a massively successful MS Transition to Ericsson MS and Huawei SOC that kicked off within 2 weeks of the Covid 19 lockdown. Meeting the contracted delivery schedule despite lockdown by introducing new ways of working and managing the delivery including Data Centre Hardware Expansions that require Power and A/c Upgrades.
  • Initially employed as RF Manager but within 3 months moved to Technical Director then Project Director to rescue a failing national network saving +$100M penalties, +4000 sites, delivery that was 7 months behind schedule having only achieve 15% of the targets. Within 3 months increased delivery to 95%. Subsequently this led to 3 major additional projects for 2800 sites + core expansion in U900, L2100 and L900.
  • Indosat Kalisumapa, after lots of presenting and convincing CTIO allocated additional resources for 6 weeks, created processes and in departmental communications; improved availability by 2.6%, CSSR CS 96.3->98.3%, CDR CS 0.51->0.42%, CSSR PS 93->96.4%. Huge improvements recognised in churn reduction 5%, and improved sales/revenue 8%.
  • Leading the Indosat Network Performance Optimisation of +48,000 cells across GSM900, DCS1800, U2100 and U900. Massive improvements delivered bringing the Indosat network performance in Jakarta to number 1 operator and increasing Data Traffic by 70% with a subsequent increase in revenue.
  • Highly successful delivery of 900MHz spectrum re-farm across Indosat network in Jakarta, Indonesia followed by managing a successful launch of U900 in a network despite massive external interference increasing real traffic, and revenue, by 28%
  • Ericsson Vietnamobile. Detailed design vs contract reviews due to contract dispute led to a $50K additional investment and delivery on a $450m programme reducing contract penalties by $70M and ensuring contract closure.
  • Ericsson Vietnam. Led the turnaround of a failing $1.5m managed services operation, improved efficiencies, attracted local personnel, improved knowledge transfer and re-wrote procedures saving 73% costs within 12 months whilst exceeding the contractual performance.
