- Report to Operations Director based in Hongkong

- Accountable for VN Operations and be the spirit of the office.

- Gatekeeper for Vietnam Operations in compliance with Group Policy and local legal framework including but not limited to Sourcing & Procurement, Finance, Administration, Product Development, Warehouse, Logistics & Customer Service.

- Led the local Team to successfully implement new SAP for Vietnam during UAT and Business Go-live in 2022.

- The first employee in Vietnam (New Entity Set-Up), taking responsibility for supply chain in Vietnam and supporting Global Purchasing in Supplier Re-locations Projects.

- Dealing with all issues for the local supply chain and doing market research and necessary analysis for various Group Procurement Projects.
- Key Stakeholders both Regional and Local: Subsets of Operations Teams, Sales Team, and HR & Admin Team.

- Working closely with Sales on product localization and Sales plan for Vietnam.

- As an experienced Operations Manager, I have successfully overseen the entire supply chain and operations, including HR and admin functions, as well as accounting and back-office operations to support local business operations. In this role, I played a pivotal role in collaborating with the Management in HQ to effectively cascade down business plans and objectives to the team.

- I have been a key player in fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the organization, constantly bringing forward innovative ideas to streamline processes and enhance overall efficiency. - I maintain DIFOT as 95%, GRD more than 28 days within 5-10%, OOE and Operating Income under target set and remains Gross Margin 30%+. Help the company gain Sales up to 30 billion VND within 10 months in 2023 after a few months set up. Coordinating with Sales in Hongkong, USA to align on local strategies and target to develop existing and new customers.

- I am working closely and building up strong relationships with both local customers and suppliers.

- Report To Group/Global Purchasing Manager and dotted line to Factory Director.

- Manage the entire process in the MRP planning of commodities procurement and supply chain activities (Sourcing and Purchasing), inventory control, Logistics and Distribution, customs clearance, ensuring effectively functioning processes to avoid costly delays and lost opportunities.

- Ensure effective lines of communication to ensure timely delivery of inbound and outbound shipments.

- Analysing Inventory, replenishment plan, demand versa supply for materials, aging stock, and logistics KPI such as OTIFR, DOS, DPO.

- Handling supply market insights and PPV track and report as a Group Purchase Analyst to consolidate and analyse PPV from all sites including China, Germany, Italy & UK. Set up PPV for Vietnam.

- Working close with R&D for NPDI projects sourcing and costing to act as a Yarn Category Manager to support customer demands during the RFI and RFQ.

- One of the Project Members presented to Vietnam to join the ERP project in charge of the Procurement portion.

- Introducing process improvements in the supply chain and identifying new vendors/suppliers without jeopardizing quality and service delivery.

- Develop and manage the rosters of suppliers, elaborate supplier selection, and evaluation, quality and performance measurement mechanisms

- Prepare monthly, quarterly, or annual procurement & cashout plans and progress reports as required

- Ensure transparent and competitive procurements are conducted and properly documented as required, and in compliance with plans, organize and lead the bid solicitation process.

- Manage vendor and customer contracts and maintain relationships with suppliers as well as local customers to ensure completeness of deliverables outlined in the contract this includes ensuring that all vendor complaints and customer concerns are addressed promptly to ensure internal and external supply sustainability.

- Ensure all operations adhere to laws, guidelines, ISO 9001 & 14001 & GRS requirements.

- Working closely with Finance & HR to manage people, compliance, and policy, cashflow management.

Developing and leading a lighting category-based sourcing and supplier management organisation where Sourcing is a proactive Business Partner to Corporate functions and the Sourcing Strategy is an integrated part of the Groups Business Plan executed in the markets and based on market needs. Building competence in Supplier Management to develop partnerships with strategic suppliers driving innovation throughout the value chain, contributing to profitable growth KPIs and a competitive advantage of the Group CBD. Through an effective and efficient organisation and working SOP to shorten the distance between or customer needs and suppliers ‘capabilities.

- Starting at an intern and moved to support as part-time job and Contracted employee, I had been with this company for three years before the Direct Manager encourages me to have another opportunity. I considered this company is the good foundation for quick learners to start up their carrier.

- Sourcing suppliers with the right procurement strategies, dealing any terms and conditions in contracting duties with suppliers to ensure the best quality, service and price offered.

- Supplier Relationship management by evaluating suppliers, auditing and supporting.

- Joining S&OP meeting to report the availability of RM, making supply planning based on quantitative method after the meeting and working with SCM to evaluate production capacity for setting the right Safety Stock and Lot-size.

- Contacting 3PL to handle import stuff and support the forwarder with necessary documents.

- Joining new project of two more production lines with more challenges to meet demand planning from Sales.

- Focusing on principle Raw Materials and interplants procurement for finished goods from parent company if any.

- Handling local transportation to deliver finished goods to customers in the right place and right time.

- Taking care of customers’ feedback, then work internally to tackle the issues by

tracing back data with QA, WH team.

- Making claims to suppliers for those defective goods and bad services.

- Coordinating with Accounting for making do time payment to suppliers, supporting Finance by dealing the best payment terms for good cash flow within the company.

- Process warehouse Good Receipts for incoming materials., Daily report for the Inbound and Outbound Cargo, Crosscheck and traceability check to collate with system to keep stock status up to date and root cause analysis for logistics and warehouse defects issues.

- Support Project of new investment line with procurement and logistics, on time payment and smooth logistics clearance
